Los Lonely Boys Play for Alejandro
LLB, John Cale play benefit concert for Alejandro Escovedo.

AUSTIN, TX [Wednesday Sep.29.2004] /WMQT.com/ -- On November 4, Los Lonely Boys will take the stage in Austin, Texas for a special show to benefit the Alejandro Fund, which helps fight Hepatitis C. John Cale, Lenny Kaye and Ruben Ramos are set to join Los Lonely Boys in the fundraising concert.
In July, Los Lonely Boys and numerous other artists recorded songs for the two-disc benefit album, "Por Vida: A Tribute To The Songs Of Alejandro Escovedo." Singer-songwriter Alejandro Escovedo has been fighting Hepatitis C since 2003, and the Alejandro Fund was created to assist him and others battling this illness.
