The update to Usher's multi-platinum "Confessions" features a new design, new packaging and four bonus tracks including the duet "My Boo" with Alicia Keys. Usher will stop by MTV's TRL today, October 5, to promote the new release.

In alternative music, Maryland band Good Charlotte offers the 14-track album, "The Chronicles of Life and Death." The band is performing an outdoor concert today at the New York Greenwich Village location of Tower Records to celebrate the record. Good Charlotte's performance will be followed by an in-store CD signing and meet-and-greet.

On the pop, rock and country front, Sony releases the compilation "Mary Had a Little Amp."
