NEW YORK, NY [Thursday Dec.9.2004] /WMQT.com/ -- Duran Duran, Avril Lavigne and Maroon 5 are set to take part in NBC's first New Year's Eve special, "NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly." The one-hour show airs at 10 pm, ET on December 31 live from Rockefeller Center, with pre-recorded performances from the artists, according to several fan sites.
