Black Eyed Peas next album includes song with James Brown.
LOS ANGELES, CA [Thursday Dec.16.2004] /WMQT.com/ -- The Black Eyed Peas are up to some "Monkey Business."
The group has recently finished recording "Monkey Business," the follow-up to their hit album "Elephunk," and the new album is being mixed now, reports MTV.com.
The Peas get a little help on Monkey Business from the Godfather of Soul himself, James Brown, who sings on the song, "They Don't Want Music." Brown's part was recorded before "the Hardest Working Man in Show Business" made public that he will have surgery for prostate cancer. Surf guitar legend Dick Dale also guests on the record, which is set for release next year.
Will.I.Am had this to say about the new album. "It's fresh, it's dope, and seriously, I'm not just saying it 'cause it's ours," he told MTV.com. "I like it better than Elephunk. We recorded the majority of it in London for two months, and Brazil and here in the States on airplanes, hotel rooms, bus lobbies, museums, bathrooms."
