NEW YORK, NY  [Thursday Dec.23.2004]  /WMQT.com/ -- John Mayer admits to being sentimental when it comes to Christmas songs. In an interview with MTV, he reveals, "Christmas songs, as I get older, are making me cry like a bi---. The older you get, the more you hear a Christmas song from your childhood and you just lose it completely."

Among Mayer's favorite Christmas songs? He says, "'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' or any of that creepy boys'-choir stuff. And the 'Home Alone' theme. Go back and get that. It's some sad stuff."
