LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Dec.28.2004]  /WMQT.com/ -- Liz Phair makes a guest appearance on the latest Jimmy Eat World album, "Futures." Phair joins the band on its next single, "Work."

So how did Jimmy hook up with Liz?

Jimmy Eat World frontman Jim Adkins tells Spin magazine, "One of the earlier versions of 'Work' reminded me of 'Divorce Song' on [Phair's] 'Exile in Guyville.' So we just decided to co-opt that completely and get her in on it."

Jimmy Eat World just finished shooting the video for "Work," which was filmed outside Los Angeles.
