NEW ORLEANS, LA  [Thursday Apr.7.2005]  /WMQT.com/ -- This year's Essence Music Festival keeps getting better. MTV.com reports that the Black Eyed Peas have just been added to an already star-studded lineup that includes Alicia Keys, Destiny's Child and Kanye West. The Essence Music Festival runs July 1 - 3 on five stages within the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. Other artists scheduled to perform throughout the three-day event include Aretha Franklin, John Legend, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia, the Roots, Floetry, and Lionel Richie.
