Clarkson says a big summer tour leg is in the works.
NEW YORK, NY [Friday Apr.29.2005] /WMQT.com/ -- Kelly Clarkson says touring is one of her favorite things about being a singer.
That's good, because the original American Idol winner is adding a new leg to her current headlining tour of North America. No dates or venues have been announced yet, but plans are in the works for a big summer tour of the US.
Clarkson tells MTV.com, "Right after...[the May 29 show in Vancouver], we're going to Europe, and then I'm coming back here and we're doing a big summer leg and changing up the tour a bit, changing up the show and hitting some cities we didn't hit before." Clarkson adds, "After that we're going worldwide and doing a big tour."
As for the toughest part of being on the road, Clarkson says it's taking care of her voice. "The only problem is just singing so much. You have to shut up and that's really hard for me. I talk a lot," she laughs.
