Weezer and Pixies to co-headline Summerfest July 7.
MILWAUKEE, WI [Thursday May.26.2005] /WMQT.com/ -- Weezer is coming to Wisconsin this July.
The band will be in Milwaukee on July 7 to co-headline a show at Summerfest 2005 with indie-punk legends, the Pixies. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, May 28, at the Marcus Amphitheater box office and Ticketmaster. Tickets run from $33.75 to $43.75, plus fees, and the prices include general admission to the Summerfest grounds for the day of the show.
Weezer is touring behind its new album "Make Believe" featuring the single "Beverly Hills."
Summerfest 2005 takes place June 30 through July 10 at Maier Festival Park. Other acts scheduled to play during that time include John Mellencamp with John Fogerty; Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the Black Crowes; Kenny Chesney and Gretchen Wilson; Santana and Los Lonely Boys; and Tim McGraw.
