LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Jun.6.2005]  /WMQT.com/ -- Green Day, 50 Cent, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Keys are among the artists in the running for this year's Teen Choice Awards.

50 Cent leads the pack with a total of four Teen Choice nominations, including Choice Rap Artist and Choice Male Artist. Green Day, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Keys are close behind, with three nominations each.

Green Day's nods include Choice Rock Group and Choice Album. Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Keys are also nominated for "Choice Album" and "Choice Female Artist."

Other nominees include 3 Doors Down, Coldplay, The Killers and Franz Ferdinand for Choice Rock Group; Eminem, Jack Johnson and John Legend for Choice Male Artist; and Mariah Carey, Avril Lavigne and Ciara for Choice Female Artist.

From now until Thursday, August 4, teens ages 13 through 19 can vote for the 2005 Teen Choice Awards, presented by FOX and Teen People. Voters can log on exclusively to http://www.teenpeople.com/teenchoice to cast their ballots for their favorite celebrities in film, television, music, sports and fashion. The winners will be announced during the Teen Choice Awards telecast on Tuesday, August 16, at 8 pm ET/PT on FOX.
