Coldplay, White Stripes, Black Eyed Peas release CDs June 7.
LOS ANGELES, CA [Tuesday Jun.7.2005] /WMQT.com/ -- If you're looking for your summer soundtrack, you just might find it in some of the new releases out today, June 7.
First, there's Coldplay with its third studio album "X&Y." The band spent 18 months making "X&Y," which contains 12 songs, plus a hidden track called "Til Kingdom Come."
Garage-blues rockers the White Stripes let loose with their fifth album, "Get Behind Me Satan" and, so far, the buzz is all good. "Get Behind Me Satan" includes the new single "Blue Orchid," plus 12 other tracks from Jack and Meg White.
Black Eyed Peas are back with "Monkey Business," and fans can look forward to guest appearances on the 15-track album by Justin Timberlake, Sting, James Brown and Jack Johnson, who co-wrote the song "Gone Going."
Other notable releases available now include Shakira's "Fijacion Oral Vol. 1," Finch's "Say Hello To Sunshine" and the "Warped Tour '05" compilation CD.
In DVD news, Dido releases the "Dido, Live At Brixton Academy." The DVD also comes with a bonus live audio CD.
