Court rules ex-stylist must return photos, Bono's clothes.
DUBLIN, IRELAND [Friday Jul.8.2005] /WMQT.com/ -- Bono is getting his pants back, along with the Stetson cowboy hat he wore during the Joshua Tree tour.
Earlier this week, a Dublin court ruled that U2's former stylist, Lola Cashman, must return various clothing items, earrings and about 200 photographs she took of the band to Bono.
The judge didn't buy Cashman's claim that the U2 frontman had given her the clothing items and cowboy hat as gifts at the end of U2's 1987 American tour. Bono testified that the Stetson he wore during the Joshua Tree tour and for the film "Rattle and Hum" was a huge part of U2's history and not something he would just give away.
Cashman also must return the photographs she snapped of U2 backstage because they violated her confidentiality agreement with the band.
Cashman has one week to hand over Bono's stuff.
