Green Day Remembers London Victims
Green Day pays tribute to London bombing victims during show

DUBLIN, IRELAND  [Tuesday Jul.12.2005]  /WMQT.com/ -- During its Saturday headlining set at Ireland's Oxegen Festival, Green Day paid tribute to the victims of the July 7th bombings in London.

NME.com reports that Green Day dedicated the song "Wake Me Up When September Ends" to those who perished in the bombing attack on the British capital. Singer and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong introduced the song saying, "Two days ago there was a tragedy. This is for the all the innocents."
