3 Doors Down play acoustic set in Cincinnati.
CINCINNATI, OH [Tuesday Aug.9.2005] /WMQT.com/ -- A lack of power didn't spoil the show for 3 Doors Down and fans.
Last Thursday, in the middle of 3 Doors Down's show in Cincinnati, the lights went out and the power shut off. It was later discovered that a tree had taken down some nearby power lines, cutting off power to the Riverbend Music Center, reports MTV.com.
After evaluating the situation, 3 Doors Down singer Brad Arnold and drummer Greg Upchurch returned to the darkened stage with a small PA and snare drum. As a stagehand shone a flashlight on Arnold, the 3 Doors Down bandmates performed a 40-minute unplugged set that became a sing-a-long when the audience joined in for the choruses.
No refunds will be issued for the show, but 3 Doors Down is thinking of returning to Cincinnati in September for a second show.
