Kelly Clarkson's Got Milk and Moonmen
Clarkson appears in new 'Got Milk' ad celebrating MTV

by Krista Desens

Kelly Clarkson
CHICAGO, IL  [Wednesday Aug.31.2005]  /WMQT.com/ -- Milk and Moonmen are good for Kelly Clarkson, who's featured in a new "Got Milk" ad that references her recent MTV victories.

To celebrate Clarkson's wins at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards for Best Female Video and Best Pop Video, the people behind "Got Milk?" have launched a new ad and contest featuring the "Since U Been Gone" singer.

Clarkson's ad premiered in USA Today last Monday, August 29th, the day after her VMA wins. The ad shows a milk-mustached Clarkson onstage, microphone in hand and ready to rock.

The ad copy reads, "Because of You -- Thanks to my fans, I was nominated for a few music awards last night. And thanks to the 9 essential nutrients in milk, carrying home all that steel was no sweat."

This is the second "Got Milk?" ad to feature Clarkson, who appeared in one earlier this year.

Along with the ad, a contest featuring Clarkson is currently running at the official Got Milk web site at www.WhyMilk.com. Fans can visit the site now through September 2nd to enter to win one of five pairs of tickets for select shows on Clarkson's current headlining tour.

Clarkson is on the road in support of her best-selling sophomore release, "Breakaway."

To enter for the chance to win tickets to see Kelly Clarkson live or to check out Kelly's new "Got Milk?" ad, visit www.WhyMilk.com.
