MTV Relief Special This Saturday
ReAct Now: Music & Relief airs Sept. 10 on MTV, VH1, CMT.

NEW YORK, NY  [Friday Sep.9.2005]  /WMQT.com/ -- MTV has organized a hurricane-relief special to help Hurricane Katrina victims.

"ReAct Now: Music & Relief" airs tomorrow, September 10th, from 8 to 11 pm ET/PT on MTV, VH1 and CMT. The commercial-free special features live and taped performances and messages from numerous artists and benefits the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, America's Second Harvest and similar organizations.

Artists scheduled to participate in the disaster-relief special include: 3 Doors Down, Alan Jackson, Alicia Keys, Audioslave, Baby, Brian Wilson, Common, Dashboard Confessional, Dave Matthews Band, David Banner, Fiona Apple, Goo Goo Dolls, Good Charlotte, Green Day, John Mayer, John Mellencamp, Kanye West, Kelly Clarkson, Kid Rock, Lil' Wayne, Linkin Park's Chester Bennington, Ludacris, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marc Broussard, Maroon 5, Melissa Etheridge, Mötley Crüe, Neil Young, the Neville Brothers, Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor, Paul McCartney, the Radiators, Rob Thomas, the Rolling Stones, Sheryl Crow, Simple Plan, Staind, and Usher.
