Late Night with Conan O'Brien becomes Late Night With U2.
NEW YORK, NY [Thursday Oct.6.2005] /WMQT.com/ -- Late Night with Conan O'Brien becomes Late Night with U2 tonight, October 6th.
During this evening's episode, Conan will devote the entire hour to Bono, Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. According to U2.com, the band will play some songs as a warm-up to their five sold-out shows at New York's Madison Square Garden this month. The band also plays two more sold-out shows at the Garden in November.
U2's "Late Night" appearance is groundbreaking for Conan. In its 12-year history, the show has never before been devoted to one musical act.
Conan and U2 should have plenty to talk about. Besides the band's sell-out North American tour that's currently underway, the Associated Press is reporting that Bono is a favorite to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. The Nobel Peace Prize recipients will be announced this Friday in Norway.
