LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Nov.15.2005]  /WMQT.com/ -- Green Day, Gwen Stefani and Usher are among the artists nominated for the People's Choice Awards.

Green Day earned one People's Choice nomination for Best Group. Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool will compete for the award against the Black Eyed Peas and Destiny's Child.

Gwen Stefani is in the running for the People's Choice Female Performer award. Kelly Clarkson and Faith Hill also received nominations in this category.

The artists vying for the People's Choice Male Performer award include Usher, Toby Keith and Tim McGraw.

Fans can help determine the winners of the People's Choice Awards by voting online at www.PCAVote.com.

The winners will be announced during a live broadcast from the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium on Tuesday, January 10th, on CBS. Actor, comedian, and late-night talk show host Craig Ferguson hosts this year's show.
