Grammy Jam To Celebrate Stevie Wonder
Chris Brown, Slash, more to jam and honor Wonder Dec. 10.

LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Dec.5.2005]  /WMQT.com/ -- A number of musicians are coming together later this week to celebrate the legendary Stevie Wonder.

Chris Brown, Slash from Velvet Revolver, India.Arie, and Jesse McCartney are several of the artists scheduled to join Wonder on stage at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles on December 10th for a Grammy Jam celebrating the music of Stevie Wonder.

Other artists slated to jam with Wonder at the Recording Academy-sponsored event include Spensha Baker, Eric Benét, George Benson, Wayne Brady, George Clinton, George Duke, Josh Groban, Ellis Hall, Anthony Hamilton, Herbie Hancock, Hootie & The Blowfish, James Ingram, Randy Jackson, Boney James, Keb' Mo', Josh Kelley, KEM, Jeff Lorber, Mary Mary, Ray Parker Jr., Raphael Saadiq, Angie Stone, Tamia, Michelle Williams, and Lizz Wright.

"Stevie Wonder is one of the most generous individuals, both musically and philanthropically, in our industry," said Recording Academy President Neil Portnow in a statement. "Artists of all genres are lining up to honor this musical icon whose body of work spans generations, touching millions of fans around the world."

Wonder is a 22-time Grammy Award-winning artist.
