MUNICH, GERMANY  [Wednesday Dec.21.2005]  /WMQT.com/ -- International singing sensation Mariah Carey has won a Bambi.

On December 1st, Carey was presented with the award for Pop International Artist during the 57th annual Bambi Media Awards ceremony in Munich, Germany.

According to Carey's official web site, the award recognizes her success as a Pop and R&B singer, selling over 150 million CDs worldwide and scoring 16 Number One hits.

The Bambi Media Awards honor figures in the world of entertainment, literature, sports and politics and is sponsored by the German media company Hubert Burda Media.
