Mariah Has Biggest-Selling Album Of 2005
RIAA names The Emancipation of Mimi biggest seller of 2005.

NEW YORK, NY [Wednesday Dec.28.2005] /WMQT.com/ -- Mariah Carey's comeback continues, with the RIAA naming "The Emancipation of Mimi" the biggest-selling album of 2005.
In a press release it was announced that Carey's latest album "Mimi" has gone platinum in the US five times and has sold over eight million copies worldwide. The album has also earned Carey eight Grammy nominations including Record Of the Year and Song of the Year for "We Belong Together," and Album Of the Year.
