Kelly Clarkson named Woman of the Year by Blender magazine.
by Krista Desens

NEW YORK, NY [Tuesday Jan.3.2006] /WMQT.com/ -- Kelly Clarkson is Blender's Woman of the Year.
The music magazine named Clarkson 'Woman of the Year' for 2005 in part due to her overwhelming appeal as an artist and her smash hit song "Since U Been Gone." Nearly everyone's a fan of the first American Idol winner, including Oprah Winfrey and Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, not to mention the five million others who bought her latest album "Breakaway."
Clarkson graces the cover of Blender's January/February 2006 issue, which also features an interview with the singer. You can check out the full feature in the latest issue of Blender, on newsstands now.
