LONDON, UK [Wednesday Jan.4.2006] /WMQT.com/ -- Just before the Christmas holiday, Coldplay dropped by the BBC's Radio 1 to perform a live mini-concert for listeners.
The show took place at the Maida Vale studios in the United Kingdom, and Coldplay performed several of its hit songs in front of a specially invited audience.
The band chatted with host Jo Whiley before playing a set that included "Speed of Sound" and "Talk" from the band's latest album, "X&Y," plus "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face" from the band's second record "A Rush Of Blood To The Head." To get everyone in the holiday spirit, Coldplay closed its live set with a special performance of "White Christmas."
