DeLonge forms Angels & Airwaves; new record this spring.
LOS ANGELES, CA [Tuesday Jan.10.2006] /WMQT.com/ -- Former Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge has formed a new band called "Angels & Airwaves," and it looks like the group will release its debut album this spring.
Angels & Airwaves features DeLonge, guitarist David Kennedy, drummer Atom Willard, and bassist Ryan Sinn.
In a journal posting at www.macbethfootwear.com (DeLonge's company), DeLonge writes that "it is music that is best described as...well, the best stuff I have ever done." He adds, "I promise my fans will like this the most out of everything I have been a part of, I promise it will give you a feeling of liberation, excitement, goose bumps."
DeLonge's manager revealed to MTV.com the names of eight tracks from the Angels & Airwaves album. The songs include "Valkyrie Missile," "Distraction," "The Adventure," "The War," "A Little's Enough," "It Hurts," "Do It for Me Now" and "Start the Machine."
