LONDON, UK  [Tuesday Jan.10.2006]  /WMQT.com/ -- Green Day was victorious in a recent Reader's Poll held by Kerrang! Magazine.

Readers of the UK's weekly rock magazine named Green Day the "Best Band" and voted the group's stadium shows at England's Milton Keynes as the "Best Live Show" of 2005.

Additionally, Green Day scored honors for "Best Single" and "Best Video" for the track "Jesus of Suburbia," and Kerrang! readers voted Billie Joe Armstrong as the "Best Dressed Star" and "Hero of the Year."
