LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Jan.16.2006]  /WMQT.com/ -- Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas is among the artists providing tracks for the forthcoming Sly and the Family Stone tribute album, "Different Strokes by Different Folks."

RollingStone.com reports that the album is scheduled for release on January 31st. Along with Will.I.Am, the CD also includes contributions from Maroon 5, the Roots, John Mayer, Joss Stone, John Legend, Moby, Janet Jackson, Buddy Guy, Big Boi from OutKast, and Steven Tyler.
