Grammy Performance Lineup Keeps Growing
Paul McCartney, Kelly Clarkson, Ciara to sing at Grammys.

LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Feb.3.2006]  /WMQT.com/ -- The list of Grammy performers continues to grow, with the latest additions of Paul McCartney, Kelly Clarkson and Ciara.

McCartney, who is a 13-time Grammy winner, will perform for the first time in the history of the Grammy telecast during the 48th Annual Grammy Awards.

The Recording Academy also announced yesterday (February 2) that Grammy nominee Kelly Clarkson will sing at the show. In addition, Best New Artist nominee Ciara will take the stage to sing during an all-star tribute to Sly and the Family Stone featuring Maroon 5, Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas, Robert Randolph, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Joss Stone, John Legend and Devin Lima.

Along with these artists, other previously announced performers include Mariah Carey and the Hezekiah Walker & Love Fellowship Choir; Kanye West and Jamie Foxx; Madonna and the Gorillaz; Bruce Springsteen; U2 and Mary J Blige; Coldplay; Faith Hill and Keith Urban; Christina Aguilera and Herbie Hancock; and Sugarland.

The GRAMMY Awards will take place on Wednesday, February 8th, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). The show also will be supported on radio via Westwood One worldwide, and covered online at www.grammy.yahoo.com.
