Jay-Z And Linkin Park To Mash Up Grammys

LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Feb.7.2006]  /WMQT.com/ -- The all-star line-up for this Wednesday's Grammy Awards Show just got bigger with the addition of Jay-Z and Linkin Park to the list of performers.

On Monday (February 6), the Recording Academy announced that past Grammy winners Jay-Z and Linkin Park will take the stage to perform their Grammy-nominated rap/sung collaboration, "Numb/Encore."

Jay-Z and Linkin Park join previously announced performers Mariah Carey and the Hezekiah Walker & Love Fellowship Choir; Kanye West and Jamie Foxx; John Legend; Madonna with the Gorillaz; Paul McCartney; Kelly Clarkson; Bruce Springsteen; U2 and Mary J. Blige; Coldplay; Faith Hill and Keith Urban; Christina Aguilera and Herbie Hancock; Sugarland; and an all-star tribute to Sly And The Family Stone featuring Maroon 5, Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas, Robert Randolph, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Joss Stone, John Legend, Ciara and Devin Lima.

The GRAMMY Awards take place Wednesday, February 8th, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast by CBS at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). The show will also be supported on radio via Westwood One worldwide, and covered online at www.grammy.yahoo.com.
