Brad Arnold recovering from auto accident.
NEW YORK, NY [Monday Feb.13.2006] /WMQT.com/ -- Brad Arnold has been temporarily sidelined after being injured in a one-car accident on February 1st.
According to
www.3doorsdown.com, the 3 Doors Down singer was riding in the passenger seat of a car traveling along a rural Mississippi highway during a heavy downpour. Arnold sustained several severe lacerations and bruises to his face that required stitches in several places. He's now recuperating at home and is expected to make a full recovery.
Because of Arnold's condition, 3 Doors Down was forced to postpone its February show at Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and the band also canceled its appearance at the Bud Bowl during Detroit's Super Bowl festivities.
The Mount Pleasant show will be rescheduled for a future date, and details will be announced as soon as they are available. In the meantime, keep an eye on 3 Doors Down's official web site for additional updates.
