LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Feb.17.2006]  /WMQT.com/ -- It could be a Green Day at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards this April.

The Grammy-winning rockers are up for two awards including Favorite Music Group and Favorite Song for "Wake Me Up When September Ends."

Mariah Carey also picked up a pair of nominations for Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Song for "We Belong Together."

Other nominees include the Backstreet Boys, the Black Eyed Peas, Destiny's Child, Nelly, Gwen Stefani, Ciara, Bow Wow, Jesse McCartney, Will Smith, Hilary Duff, Kelly Clarkson, and Alicia Keys.

Actor, comedian and Tenacious D frontman Jack Black will handle hosting duties at the 19th Annual Kids' Choice Awards.

Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards will air live from UCLA's Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 1st at 8 pm ET/PT.
