HOLLYWOOD, CA [Tuesday Feb.28.2006] /WMQT.com/ -- Mariah Carey is going to give acting another shot.
Variety magazine reports that Carey, who starred in the notorious 2001 flop "Glitter," will make her big-screen comeback in the indie flick, "Tennessee."
The film is slated to begin shooting this spring in New Mexico and Tennessee and, in the drama, Carey plays a waitress who teams with two brothers who are looking for their estranged father.
"Tennessee" will be directed by Aaron Woodley ("Rhinoceros Eyes" and "Shadowboxer") and will be produced by Lee Daniels ("Monster's Ball).
