“RUN AWAY FOR A DAY”!
Would you like to give your child or grandchild a day they'll never forget, and help them “Run Away For a Day” to join the Shrine Circus in Marquette on May 8th? If so, just listen closely on the air for your chance to do just that! We're giving away prize packagers to TWO different winners, and one of them could be you.
The contest will run from Wednesday, April 19th through Friday, May 5th, the day on which we will draw the two grand prize winners.
Each winner receives the following—four tickets to the 630 pm May 8th performance of the Shrine Circus at Lakeview Arena. That afternoon at 430, the winners will get to “run away” backstage and get a shot at experiencing a variety of circus skills, to be determined the day of the event. Could be aerial, could be animals, but it will be a lot of fun.
The rules?
Well, adult qualifiers on the air will nominate a child or grandchild, and that child must be at least 6 years of age. Each winner gets to bring up to three other people (for a total of four) to “run away” the day of the event. One of those people must be the adult who wins, or an adult designated by them to supervise the winning child or children. Each qualifier must be 18 or older to win, and there can only be one winner per family and per household. There's no purchase necessary, and Employees of Taconite Broadcasting, Carden Circus, and other Upper Michigan radio stations are not eligible to win. Prizes can not be redeemed for cash, and are non transferable. In the event of the cancellation of a show, Taconite Broadcasting and Carden Circus shall not be held liable. Any taxes are responsibility of the winner. Odds for the contest are determined by the number of entries.
All decisions of WMQT judges are final.
